Artist who inherited from his grandfather and father a fascination for the Romanic paintings of the Vall de BoÃ. This interest in traditional techniques is reflected in his work, in which he applies the fresco technique through the use of pure pigment. His most recent works are characterized by a conjunction between sculpture and painting, halfway between figuration and abstraction. Lleó knows how to combine perfectly painting and relief, giving the whole an almost architectural nuance. This kind of spatial pictorial organicism in which the material springs from the fabric is a transmitter of dichotomies such as lyricism-forcefulness, presence-transparency and order-chaos. Lleó's work can be seen in countless national and international museums. Also worth noting is the installation of his sculptures in New York on Park Avenue in 2017 or the one carried out the following year in 2018 on Diagonal in Barcelona. Also in 2023, the MACRO museum in Vigo held a major retrospective of him.
